On December 18, 2018, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam signed on behalf of the Prime Minister to issue a decision approving the master plan for developing the National Tourist Area (Mui Ne National Resort) (Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan province) to 2025, vision to 2030, as an attractive destination of South Central Coast area. Mui Ne is expected to welcome 9 million tourists (1.5mil for inbound) by 2025; and 14 million tourists (2 million for inbound tourists) by 2030.
